Founded by Chetan Salhotra, tattooing since 2006. Inkspace opened in Hauz Khas Village in 2017 as a consultation-first custom tattoo studio — fine line, realism, black & grey, cover-ups and custom portraits, one client at a time.

Inkspace wasn't built just to tattoo people. It was built around a belief — that when art, precision, patience and passion come together, something almost impossible to explain happens. We call it Space Magic.
Inkspace began in 2017, but the story started much earlier. Chetan Salhotra had been tattooing since 2006, building his reputation as an artist before deciding to create a studio of his own with his wife, Swati. What started as a dream became a tiny space in the chaos of Hauz Khas Village — and then became Inkspace.
Almost a decade later, that little studio has become a name people recognise, trust and return to.
There was never a shortcut.
Every year brought new challenges, but the answer was always the same: make better art, work harder and keep moving forward.
From a small fine-line tattoo to a demanding realism piece or a difficult cover-up, we believe every tattoo deserves the same thing — attention, focus and patience. We don't measure our work by how quickly it gets done. We measure it by what walks out of Inkspace when we're finished.
Our story doesn't stop at the tattoo chair.
Inkspace helped create Space Gully, turning an overlooked corner of Hauz Khas Village into one of the area's most recognisable and photographed spots. We worked with our neighbourhood and local community to help improve the surroundings we call home — because we have always believed that a business should leave something good behind.
That same rebellious, creative spirit eventually found another expression through Jealous B*tchez — a clothing brand born from the real-life attitude, battles and humour behind the Inkspace journey.
Almost a decade in, we're still here. Still creating. Still pushing. Still believing in the magic of making something your own.
That's Space Magic.

Got my first tattoo at Inkspace and I couldn’t be happier. Inkspace not only helps bring your vision to life, but has an incredibly supportive and kind atmosphere at the same time (shout out to Chetan, Bruna and Harjee for being so supportive). I am extremely happy with the work done, and will definitely be back once the inspiration hits again :)
I got a fantastic tattoo from Bruna! She not only nailed my design but also gave me some great tips to make it even more amazing. She was very patient throughout and even gave me space for decision-making. The place is a steal, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who’s thinking about getting a tattoo.
Ink space made me super comfortable about my tattoo design and showed me various versions till we got the exact design I wanted! I loved the entire experience from beginning to end, felt very comfortable and getting the tattoo wasn't painful at all. Very very happy with the end result!
I got my tattoo done by Chetan at Inkspace HKV. Chetan was very patient during the consultation and refined my idea into something better than I imagined. His linework is clean, crisp and he has a really steady hand. The studio is spotless and they opened all equipment in front of me. Pain was manageable and Chetan kept checking in throughout. Healing has been smooth thanks to the aftercare sheet they gave. If you’re in Delhi and want thoughtful artists who care, go see Chetan at Inkspace. Professional, hygienic, and the artistry is top notch.
Had an amazing experience at Ink Space! The entire process was extremely professional, hygienic, and comfortable from start to finish. A special shoutout to Chetan for his creativity, patience, and attention to detail — he truly understood the vision and brought it to life perfectly. Also, Bruna was incredibly warm and helpful throughout the session, making the whole experience even better. The studio vibe is great, the artists are talented, and the quality of work speaks for itself. Highly recommend Ink Space to anyone looking for a meaningful and well-executed tattoo!

Inkspace Tattoo Studio is at 13-A, 1st Floor, Space Gully, Hauz Khas Village, New Delhi 110016 — a quiet appointment-only studio in South Delhi, a short walk from Hauz Khas metro station and easy to reach from Gurugram and Noida.
Every custom tattoo starts with a WhatsApp or in-studio consultation. We discuss reference, placement, size, healing and long-term wearability, then send a design brief and quote before booking a session. Nothing is tattooed the same day as the first consultation.
Small fine line or minimal tattoos take 45–90 minutes. Medium black & grey or realism pieces take 3–5 hours. Larger custom sleeves and back pieces are split across multiple sessions spaced roughly 4–6 weeks apart to protect line quality and pigment retention.
Pricing depends on size, detail, placement and session count. Small custom pieces typically start around ₹4,000; larger black & grey, realism or cover-up work is quoted by session after the consultation. We share a written quote before booking.
We specialise in fine line, realism, black & grey, cover-up, custom and minimal tattoos. Every piece is drawn from scratch for the client — we do not run flash walls or copy other artists' work.
Sleep well, eat before you arrive, drink water, and avoid alcohol or blood thinners for 24 hours. Wear comfortable clothing that gives easy access to the placement. Follow the aftercare plan we send after your session for the best healing.
Yes — cover-ups are one of our specialities. We plan the new design so the old ink disappears under considered linework and value. Some heavily saturated tattoos need 2–4 laser sessions first; we tell you honestly at consultation whether a direct cover-up is possible.
Yes. Inkspace uses single-use sterile needles, hospital-grade barrier film on every surface a client touches, autoclaved reusable equipment and disposable ink caps. The studio has held the same medical-grade hygiene standard since 2017.
